Hello Friend,

My name is Kim Martier, I am a child of God, a Wife, a Mother, a lover of life and an empty nest girl. 

I feel like a cat with nine lives! I have had an amazingly diverse career in Broadcast Radio as a Radio Air Personality for over 12 years , a few small stints on Broadcastand and cable Television in roles like weather anchor,and music video show host, as well as 20 plus year career as an Advertising Account Executive and all while raising two very active sons and supporting my husband's  21 year career as a Naval Aviator as well as his post retirement career.  Whew! I was busy! But then in 2012 I became an "Empty Nester" and that opened up a whole new world for me. What do I do now?? So many emotional ups and downs mixed with an exciting new found freedom and new directions to travel. The question is; which way do I go? 

My goal for the Empty Nest Girl Podcast is to share stories with you that will  be meaningful, impactful as well as  funny and emotional to help you feel part of a community of ladies all going through a similar phase of life.  Not just my stories but the stories of my beautiful friends who have their own voices to be heard about their own interesting empty nest experiences and new adventures.  We'll share the good, the bad, the ugly and the awesome! We're not going to solve the world's problems but we may bring peace to your heart and help you not feel alone as you navigate the empty nest girl  life.
